The club will be closed from the 19th December until the 4th January.

10/12/2011 We’ve Moved!

Over the summer, Walker Technology College closed it's doors at it's site on Middle Street and asked the club to move out. After many months as the “Bowmen Of Walker Wanderer's”, we have finally come to an arrangement with Walker Technology College and have moved into there new home which is just around the corner from their old one on Waverdale Avenue.

If you visited us at the old site you will remember that we shot in a small hall up stairs. At the new site we have use of a large well lit sports hall on the ground floor which gives us more room and gives us disability access.

Although this now venue is fantastic, there is only one hall available to us. This has meant a reduction in the number of times a week we can shoot. At the moment we can only shoot on a Saturday morning from 10am – 12pm. We are however still looking for other venues to increase our shooting nights.

As we are still at a school, we are still constrained to term times, this means that our last shooting session this year will be on the 17th December as the school will be shut from the 19th December until the 4th January. We hope to be back in and shooting on the 7th January.
